“Creating the set and light at the same time meant that I could fully realize important visual concepts from the beginning, knowing how things fit together, foreseeing how materials react, integrating the technical, and anticipating the best results. On the one hand, this made the work smooth and cohesive. On the other hand, I had a lot of creative arguments...with myself.”
