“This was a very challenging project, but one where I am so happy with result. The curators placed oils next to sketches and finding the right lighting balance for each work, and the works when seen together, was of critical importance. Almost every work has its own direct light source but this is not evident due to the generous amounts of ambient soft light furnished by the ceiling lightboxes. It was all done with a ‘shoe-string’ budget for an exhibition of its size.”
